Polticians aren’t scientists. They aren’t even good at business for the most case.
Most of the talking heads you see up there are career politicians. They never had to open a business, make a payroll, or lay people off. They never had to meet the demands of the market.
Heck, we tried a drug that seemed to work and two governors banned it-then when it seemed like it really was working changed course.
Politicians are lawyers and you know what they call 1000 lawyers chained together at the bottom of the sea? A good start.
Lawyers are trained to see the downside to everything.

We have a great history in America of being individualistic.
The “cowboy” mentality. Rugged individualism. Going against the grain and convention. Americans are not sheep that are led to slaughter.
This will not be a “nice” blogpost.
I read a story where a lone person out on the ocean minding their own business on their paddleboard was arrested. The authorities chased him down with a high powered police boat. It would be like using a tank to stop a jogger on the street.
The story contained a quote from a dim person.
“Kim Prather, who works at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, told the Los Angeles Times that the beach could be one of the most dangerous places in California amid the outbreak. She said she fears the virus is being washed into the ocean and transferred back into the air along the coast. “I wouldn’t go in the water if you paid me $1 million right now,” she told the newspaper.
Not only is she totally incorrect when it comes to science, but what the hell was the newspaper writer thinking? Didn’t they think to question her assertion?
We are where we are mostly because the Chinese government lied to the entire world and used its political muscle to cover it up.
It was an unforced error. No one made them lie. That shows you the true principles of the Chinese government.
WHO, the UN organization responsible for worldwide health didn’t even declare this a pandemic until March 11. Of course, who is pulling the strings of the puppet running it?
China.
When are we going to learn the United Nations is basically a feel-good organization that doesn’t have humanity’s best interest at heart?
We acting like sheep today in America.
I am seeing it in the hysteria around COVID19. The data simply doesn’t support the hysteria and the breathless reporting which fans the flames of fear.
Combine that with government policy struck with a broad “one size fits all” stroke and a lot of needless suffering is happening daily across the country.
There will come a time when as an American it will be time to stand up.
It will be time to walk down, open up your business and tell the “authorities” to go screw themselves. En masse, they cannot stop us. But, peer pressure combined with fear is strong.
We need to stop being so fearful. It makes us dumb. It turns us into sheep. Don’t be a sheep.
Soon, very soon, this lockdown must end.
